Homemaking

TEAM serves any person aged 60 or older residing in Ansonia, Derby, Milford, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, or Woodbridge. Homemaking services make it possible for older persons to live in their own homes or to return to their homes by providing assistance in completing tasks they are unable to manage alone. TEAM staff provide assistance with tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry and shopping. Priority is given to the frail elderly and financially needy. Homemaking is available on a referral basis by hospitals, family, friends, and participants themselves – generally, demand exceeds resources so a short waiting period should be expected.
