The Community Café is a nutrition program that serves healthy, balanced, and tasty meals in a friendly atmosphere. Hot lunchtime meals are available at several locations throughout the Valley, with locations and days/times listed below.

The Senior Meals Options Program (SMOP) Evening meals are also offered Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Griffin Hospital , For a $4.00 Suggested donation. with lunch also served on Thursday.

Congregate meal settings provide opportunities for socialization and companionship while reduce hunger and food insecurity.

Fee: For the Congregate Meal Programs a contribution of $3.00 per meal is suggested. Donations are used to supplement and expand nutrition services. If a person is unable to make a contribution, service will not be denied.

Eligibility Requirements:
Individuals must be 60 years of age or older, or the spouse of an eligible individual, regardless of age. Also eligible are individuals with disabilities who have not reached 60 years of age, but who reside in housing facilities occupied primarily by older persons.

Application Process:
Reservations must be made one day in advance by calling any meal site on weekdays between 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (for example, to eat lunch on Tuesday, call in a reservation on Monday).
